As most of you know, the Midwest has been hit with a barrage of tornadoes recently that have left devastation in their path.  There have been more than a hundred deaths, and hundreds of homes, churches, and businesses have been absolutely leveled.

I’m a Midwesterner myself, I’ve lived smack in the middle of Tornado Alley all my life, and I know first-hand what it’s like to live through one of these things.  They’re scary, and rebuilding after you’ve been hit is hard.

That’s why I’m offering my services as a fic writer and a fic mixer in a charity auction on Livejournal.  You bid a certain dollar amount to a charity benefiting the victims of the tornadoes, and winning bidder(s) get a 1000-word minimum fic of the fandom, pairing, genre, and rating of their choice.  I’m also offering drabbles of 100 words for flat-fee donations.  If you’d prefer, I also do fanmixes, 15 songs minimum, with cover and tracklist art.  There are a lot of talented people offering things bid on, so even if you’re not interested in what I can do, maybe you can find something you are interested in.

I know money is tight for practically everybody, and I know a lot of you have already donated to charities for Japan and New Zealand.  But if you can at all, I really encourage you to take a look.  Believe me, these people are grateful for absolutely any help they can get.

The auction can be found here.  If you would like to see examples of my fanworks, you can check out The Second Story.  I’m nowhere near Tumblr famous, and don’t have many followers, so I appreciate anyone who takes the time to reblog this.
